Strathearn Ramblers
Fitness and friendship through walking.

Strathearn Ramblers are a walking group within the Strathearn area. We organise walks for different levels of fitness. There are monthly strolls of five to seven miles on relatively flattish terrain and paths, monthly walks of seven plus miles over more challenging terrain and monthly hill walks on steeper inclines. All walks are led by a team of leaders and are fully recced prior to the walk. Stroll and walks are organised for Sundays and hill walks can vary around weekends. In addition to the regular walks the club organises special one-off walks plus weekends away staying either in lodges or hotels. We are a very social club and in addition to walking we organise social events.

The club produces a quarterly magazine, the Strathearn Rambler, with reports of the walks recently undertaken and descriptions of future walks.

The club is open to all adults (18 plus) with differing levels of walking fitness. It is important to note that although there are leaders on each walk who will make the walk as safe as possible, an individual joining a walk is responsible for keeping themselves and fellow walkers safe and will have the appropriate walking gear and have an understanding their own fitness levels in relation to the walk to be undertaken.

There is an experienced committee who run the club, see our magazine for details.

The annual subscription is currently £10.
