Flute Viola Harp Trio

We are delighted to open our season with the Flute Viola Harp Trio. This ensemble brings together some of Scotland’s most experienced chamber musicians. Following their debut concert with the premier of Martin Suckling’s Tenebrae, the Glasgow University 2012 McEwen Commission, they have performed to enthusiastic audiences at many Music Festivals and Music Clubs all over Scotland. As well as lending itself beautifully to new music and arrangements of earlier works, this combination of instruments has some of the most enchanting repertoire from the early twentieth century, the Debussy Sonata being the jewel in the crown.
